GOD’S DESIGN FOR WOMEN
This 8-session group aims to address the multifaceted question of who God says we are as women. What did God say about Eve’s design when he fashioned her? As his daughters, are we living out his design? Jesus brought justice and righteousness to women in the first-century world. Does your self-perception align with what Jesus says about you? We will delve into the biblical account and explore contemporary messages from esteemed leaders who offer truth, healing, and blessing for women in today’s world.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED SUPPORT GROUP
Most of us have parts of our story we would not have chosen. This group is for women whose lives have taken turns they didn’t expect: disability or medical complexity, neurodivergence, grief, caregiving, family changes, the pressures of work and leadership, disappointment, unanswered prayer, or simply a season that looks different than they imagined. We’ll have honest conversations about life with God when there aren’t tidy answers, how to become tender instead of hardened, and how to keep following Jesus in the middle of real life. We’ll make room for what is hard without making hardship the center of the room. The hope is that women leave encouraged, less alone, more aware of where God is in their story, and reminded that there is still purpose, beauty, growth, and opportunity to love others well right where they are!

Our open discussion and resources often center around: identity as a daughter, the important practices of soul care & cutting off lies, naming grief & how to meet God in pain, and how to pour into our marriages and grow together. We will have monthly prayer partners and look forward to meeting in Shoreview and at Happy Monday/Prayer Room in the 2025-26 Connect group season.
