MYC RETREAT FAQ
+ What is the cost to attend MYC?
The cost to attend MYC is $85 for Middle School students and $165 for High School students. We ask that students bring extra cash for meals + snacks during this weekend!
It is our desire that all students who want to attend the retreat are able to. If you have any questions about financial assistance, please reach out to youth@everydaympls.com!
+ Does my student need to bring money for food?
Yes! Although breakfast will be provided each morning, students will need to bring money for three meals and snacks (approximately $15 per meal).
+ Who is leading MYC?
Alex + Bree Kruse will be leading the YOUTH students and YOUTH Owners who are coming to MYC.
+ Where is MYC happening?
MYC is hosted at the Mayo Civic Center. 30 Civic Center Dr SE, Rochester, MN 55904
+ How will my student get to MYC?
Bus transporation to and from MYC will be provided for students. Drop off and pick up will be at the EVERYDAY building. The address for is 2420 Cleveland Ave N, Roseville, MN.
+ What time should I drop off my student at EVERYDAY?
High School students should arrive at EVERYDAY by 12:30 PM on Thursday for check-in. Middle School students should arrive at EVERYDAY by 10 AM on Friday for check-in.
+ What time should I pick up my student at The Base on Saturday?
High School students should be picked up at EVERYDAY around 12:30 PM on Saturday. Middle School students should be picked up at EVERYDAY around 11 PM on Friday. We will be sending text updates on Saturday morning as well!
+ Can my student bring a cell phone?
Students are able to be bring their cell phones to communicate with parents and to take photos/videos. We will have times where we will ask that phones be put away so that students are able to fully engage without distraction.
+ What are the sleeping arrangements for High School students at MYC?
There will be seperate room arrangements for male and female students. Throughout the weekend, students will always be under the visibility and supervision of two adult leaders. Make sure that your student brings a sleeping bag and pillow!
+ What does my student need to bring to the retreat?

+ My student has special dietary needs - what should I do?
We will do our best to accomodate any special dietary needs, so please indicate any food allergies on your student's registration form!
If your student has special dietary needs, our team will connect with you in preparation for the retreat.
+ My student takes medication - what should I do with them? How will my student receive medication on the retreat?
Please indicate any medications your student takes on their registration form, and feel free to reach out to us with any instructions. Our team will be mindful of any medication needs and ensure your student receives what they need throughout the weekend.
+ What happens if my student gets sick or is injured while at the retreat?
Our team is committed to excellence and safety. Members of our team are trained in First Aid and CPR. Our team may administer over-the-counter medication and prescribed medication as guided by the information provided in the student’s registration. In the event of an extended illness or injury, parents will be notified as soon as possible.
