LIFESTYLE SCHOOL: FAQ

What is the EVERYDAY Lifestyle School (ELS)?

ELS is a ministry school for the everyday believer. ELS curriculum is designed to integrate into an existing schedule, family, and work life. The concepts, tools, and practices that this school provides are designed to provoke a sustainable way of life for those seeking to follow Jesus in every aspect and sphere. We want to see people formed into the image of Jesus through intimacy with God, identity in Christ, love for the world, and a commitment to community.

Who is ELS for?

In terms of demographics, ELS is for everyone! People of every age and life stage will benefit from attending. Regarding qualifications, we ask that students in ELS be committed followers of Jesus who show up with humility and hunger to grow.

What topics will be covered in the content of ELS?

Topics will include the character of God, spiritual practices, emotional wholeness, worldview, discipleship, community, and more! All content is geared towards developing students into faithful and well-rounded followers of Jesus.

What is the school calendar?

The EVERYDAY Lifestyle School is an 8 month school that runs from September 3rd, 2024 - May 6th, 2025.

What is the weekly schedule/commitment?

Students will attend a weekly gathering and particpipate in EVERYDAY Prayer Room sets. For more information on commitments and requirements, visit our ELS Commitments page.

Where will programming take place?

All classes and Prayer Room sets will take place at the EVERYDAY Base (2420 Cleveland Ave N, Roseville, MN). Any off-site events, including retreats and small group gatherings, will take place in the Twin Cities area.

Will there be any childcare offered for families?

We are unable to provide childcare and ask that childcare arrangements be made to avoid having children in attendance during training sessions.

How much does ELS cost?

Tuition for ELS is $1,000 per student. Tuition covers all course materials, retreat costs, activities, and any additional necessary components of participation in ELS. $500 is due on the first day of class, while the additional $500 is due in early January.

Are there any discounts available?

While we are not able to offer scholarships at this time, we do offer a small discount to married couples who want to participate in ELS together. Rather than pay $1,000 each, one spouse will receive a 25% discount (making the total cost $1,750 for the couple).

How is this school different from other EVERYDAY training?

ELS is designed to implement the values and practices of the Kingdom over an extended period of time and in more depth than any other programming opportunity that EVERYDAY provides. While gatherings and trainings are an essential part of the school, the primary focus of ELS is to see the content integrated into your daily life in a sustainable way.

Iā€™m currently serving on a team at EVERYDAY - how will joining ELS affect my previous commitments?

If you are currently serving on a Sunday team, we're so grateful for you! You are free to continue serving in those areas. Any existing Tuesday night commitments, whether though EVERYDAY or otherwise, would need to be put on hold for the duration of the school to make attendance at classes possible.

How many students will be accepted into ELS?

While we plan to grow this school in the future, we are accepting a limited number of students for our 2024-2025 school. All applications will be prayerfully considered, but due to space limitations, not every qualified applicant is guaranteed admission.

When are applications due?

We ask that all applications be submitted by July 28th, 2024.
