HONOR & CARE SCHOOL FAQ

+ What is the Honor & Care School?

The Honor & Care School is a two-semester training and formation program designed to equip adults to care for, disciple, support, and advocate for children. Through weekly teaching, practical assignments, community, and hands-on practicum experiences, students will receive tools that strengthen their ability to help children flourish in every sphere of society.

+ Who is the Honor & Care School for?

The school is for anyone who desires to grow in their understanding and care of children. Participants may include parents, teachers, nurses, childcare providers, counselors, social workers, foster parents, ministry leaders, coaches, therapists, and volunteers who work with children.

Whether you currently serve children professionally, minister to them in a church setting, or simply feel called to invest in the next generation, the school is designed for you.

+ Can the school count toward an internship?

Yes. For those pursuing vocational ministry, education, childcare, counseling, or other child-facing professions, portions of the school may be eligible to fulfill internship or practicum requirements. We encourage prospective students to discuss their specific requirements with school leadership prior to enrollment.

+ What is the school calendar?

The Honor & Care School is an 8 month school that runs from September 27th, 2026 - May 16th, 2027.

+ What is the weekly schedule / commitment?

The weekly schedule includes weekly class hours on Sundays from 10:30AM-12:30PM, a 2 hour practicuum in EVERYDAY KIDS for hands-on training, readings, assignments, and special training opportunities. A detailed calendar will be provided to accepted students before the start of the program.

+ Where will programming take place?

All classes will take place at EVERYDAY (2420 Cleveland Ave N, Roseville, MN) in the Next Gen Auditorium. Practicum experiences will primarily occur within EVERYDAY KIDS environments.

+ Will childcare be offered?

We are unable to provide childcare and ask that childcare arrangements be made to avoid having children in attendance during training sessions.

+ How much does it cost?

Tuition for the Honor & Care School is $900. Tuition is payable in two installments, one at the beginning of each semester. Tuition covers all materials, workshops, required readings, and school activities. $450 is due on the first day of class, while the additional $450 is due in early January.

+ How many students will be accepted?

The Honor & Care School is intentionally designed to be a highly interactive and relational learning environment. To preserve the quality of training, mentorship, and practicum experiences, enrollment will be limited. Specific cohort sizes may vary from year to year. All applications will be prayerfully considered, but due to space limitations, not every qualified applicant is guaranteed admission.
