An EVERYDAY internship is a season of hands-on training for those wanting to grow in character, competency, and calling. You'll be placed on a real team, given real responsibility, and developed by leaders who are invested in who you're becoming, not just what you can produce.

We're looking for the humble + hungry ones who want to serve the local church and learn what it actually takes to build it!

INTERNSHIP TRACKS

Fall and Spring internships are available in the following areas:

  • Photography, videography, graphic design, social media, and marketing. Learn to tell the story of what God is doing with excellence and consistency.

  • Systems, events, and the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a church running. If you love order and detail, this is your lane.

  • Business processes, financial management, and tenant partnerships. Learn what it takes to make a multi-use space run efficiently and sustainably.

  • Guest experience, first-time visitors, Connect Groups, and volunteer management. Help people get off the bench and into the game.

  • EVERYDAY KIDS — curriculum, classroom leadership, volunteer support, and administration. Empower children and families with tools and truths that shape the future.

  • Classroom support, curriculum, and daily care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers — giving the future bright eyes and soft hearts.

FAQ

  • Anyone 18 or older is welcome to apply. We welcome college students, recent graduates, gap-year students, and anyone in a season where they can commit the time. There are no major or class-year requirements, and we don't require you to be enrolled at a specific school. We are looking for committed followers of Jesus who show up with humility, hunger, and a heart to serve the local church.

  • No, but we do ask that interns commit to attending EVERYDAY throughout the length of the internship.

  • Submit the online application, then we'll reach out to schedule an interview with the lead of the department you applied to. If it's a good fit for both of us, we'll confirm your placement, schedule, and start date, and get you into onboarding!

  • We run two cohorts a year:

    • Fall internships begin in September and run through December. Start dates are built to line up with the academic semester.

    • Spring internships begin in January and run through May. Start dates are built to line up with the academic semester.

  • Most internships are 8-12 hours per week, including a set weekly shift, a team meeting, and a Sunday commitment. We build schedules around your class schedule!

    Some departments have fixed hours tied to services or events, and we'll be upfront about that before you commit.

  • Primarily in-person. Some Creative and Administration work can be done remotely, but the heart of an internship is being in the room with the team!

  • Our internships are unpaid and serve as academic-credit or volunteer ministry training positions. During your internship, you’ll receive direct access to leadership, real responsibility, hands-on training, and a mentor walking with you through the season.

  • Yes! We can sign learning agreements, complete site-supervisor paperwork, submit mid-term and final evaluations, and verify hours.

  • Yes! Interns who are interested in working with children are encouraged to participate in the Honor & Care School as part of their development track. It's one of the best ways to be formed in the culture and values of this house while you're serving in it. You can learn more about the Honor & Care School here!

  • Each internship has a written role description outlining weekly responsibilities, expectations, and what you'll walk away having learned. Across every department, expect a mix of hands-on execution, team meetings, and intentional development.

  • You'll report directly to the lead of your department, who will act as your mentor for the length of your internship. Expect regular one-on-ones focused on your growth — spiritually, relationally, and professionally. Development is the whole point!

  • Yes! The application lets you select multiple areas of interest. If selected for an internship, we will place you where we see the best fit for both you and the team.

  • Applications for the Fall cohort close [DATE — CONFIRM]. Applications for the Spring cohort close [DATE — CONFIRM]. Spots are limited and we place on a rolling basis, so earlier is better!

  • You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as your application is submitted. If selected to move forward, we will follow up to schedule interviews within [1–2 WEEKS — CONFIRM] after the application deadline, and you'll receive a final placement decision within [2 WEEKS — CONFIRM] of your interview.

  • Yes. All interns complete a background check, and anyone serving with minors in EVERYDAY KIDS or Honor House Academy completes our full child-safety training and screening process.

  • Often, yes! Some interns continue into a second semester or repeat their internship. We'll have that conversation with you toward the end of your term.
