HONOR & CARE INSTITUTE
A training institute for those called to care for CHILDREN.
We believe God is raising up a Body equipped to care for the next generation—not just in church buildings, but in homes, schools, hospitals, childcare centers, counseling offices, and every sphere of society where children are being formed and nurtured. The Honor + Care Institute is a weekly development program designed for anyone who desires to grow in their ability to care for, disciple, support, and advocate for children.
Whether you are a parent, teacher, nurse, counselor, childcare provider, pastor, ministry leader, social worker, coach, or simply someone with a heart for the next generation, this program will provide practical tools and meaningful experience to strengthen your care of children.
Over the course of two semesters, participants will receive extensive training in topics such as the value of children, attachment theory, stages of development, trauma-informed care, sensory needs, emotional regulation, discipleship, healthy relationships, and navigating challenging behaviors with wisdom and compassion. Participants will also engage in a hands-on practicum within EVERYDAY KIDS, allowing them to observe, practice, and apply these principles in a real ministry environment.
Our goal is not simply to provide information, but to form people who carry the heart of God for children and are equipped to create cultures of honor, connection, belonging, and care wherever they are called to serve. We believe every child deserves adults who are skilled, present, and equipped to help them flourish—and we are committed to raising up those adults.
